Based on the phenomenal 1990 Oscar winning Paramount Pictures film starring Patrick Swayze, the dazzling new West End musical GHOST opens at the Piccadilly Theatre London in June 2011. Ghost is a timeless fantasy in which Sam, the victim of a cruel murder, is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next. Sam hopes to save his girlfriend Molly from his murderer by attempting to communicate with her via a phony psychic.
Featuring lyrics and some fantastic new music by Dave Stewart, the Grammy and Brit Award winning Eurythmics legend, and writer of Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Glen Ballard, Ghost also includes the unforgettable Righteous Brothers' classic ‘Unchained Melody'.
Ghost is directed by Matthew Warchus, the multi-award-winning director, designed by Rob Howell and features incredibly stunning stage effects by Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban illusionist Paul Kieve.
